    I was reading about Samson in the Book of Judges and it is an amazing story. I've always been fascinated by Samson. Is there any extra-biblical evidence that mentions Samson? How many Christians take the story of Samson as historical narrative and how many think it is an allegory?

    I believe it to be real. Shimshon (Hebrew pronunciation) is a defacto hero.

    And I can relate to him. Not the strength or heroic battles, but the sin-cycle. That's Bob all over again.
