    The talking heads say anyone who would not vote for him first ballot, should lose their voting priviliges.

    Is that your take, too, dear BB baseball expert?

    Greg Maddux yes, Mike Maddux is the pitching coach for Milwaukee I believe.

    I assume you mean Greg Maddux. Yes, he is a first ballot Hall of Famer without question.

    I wish to throw this out:
    Recently, Andy mentioned some Ps were given too much credit due to their run support. What was the run support for Maddux over the years? I'd love to see these stats. Can't find them at Baseball Reference.

    Maddux will be picked in the first round. Unless many of the votes are from Chicago. :type:

    Why would it matter if the votes are from Chicago? Are Cubs fans/media still angry about Maddux taking free agent money from Atlanta 15 years ago?

    I am afraid that many have forgotten how dominate Maddux was for the Atlanta Braves in the mid 90's. He would throw complete games with like 85 pitches. His ERA was like 1. something. He was a master on the mound!
