Holding back on teaching

    I think there is more latitude for church membership than for leadership. In other words, I would not support a non-reformed Elder in my church. However, I would support a non-reformed member of our congregation. Likewise, a Baptist Church should not accept a non-credobaptist as an Elder and while a person should have been Baptized as a believer to be a member of a Baptist Church, they do not have to hold to credo to be a member.

    Agreed!

    Those in official spiritual positions/roles should fully adhere and teach from perspective of the statement of beliefs, while those in "laity" allowed latitude to hold personal convictions and thoughts on doctrines, as long as the core essentials not compromised!
