How much more is it possible to get---when you get saved---you get all of Him! And as we yield---guess what??? He gets more of us!

No, we don't "leak." The HS is not like a liquid or gas. We can't get "more" or "less" of the HS if we are believers.

We can be more or less submitted to the conviction and teaching of the HS, however. So when we listen to the conviction of the HS when we sin, for example, and repent and confess, that draws us closer to God and we become even more sensitive to the HS. We become more guided to the HS as we worship God and read His word.

We can never have less or more of the HS, we can only draw further away from Him by ignoring conviction or by drawing away from Christ. Then it will seem we will have less HS, but it's really that we are ignoring Him.

Consider 1 John 5:7 "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word (Jesus) and the Holy Spirit and these three are one".

What I am quoting is a foundation for the Trinity, and that is something that I advise you check with this church that they are in full agreement with the Doctrine of the Trinity.

1 John 4:15 "Whosoever shall confess that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him and he in God".

God dwells within us permanantly. We dont have to keep on asking Him in, He comes in when we accept Him as Lord and Saviour and He will never, never leave us.

    Ephesians 4:30
And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

1 Thessalonians 5:19 Quench not the Spirit.

When we grieve the Holy Spirit we ourselves willingly quench or limit His power in our lives.

    Psalm 78:40-41
How oft did they provoke him in the wilderness, and grieve him in the desert!
Yea, they turned back and tempted God, and limited the Holy One of Israel.
