Where were you guys the latter part of last year? Racism was alive and well. I could show you multiple youtube videos of prople campaigning for McCain that make many racist comments. I'm not posting them though because most of them have foul language in them.

 

So as a conservative you perpetuate the significant racists myth. As the Sesame Street song goes "one of these things is not like the other". While there will always be racism it seems folks like you want to focus only on white racism. There are white racists, black racists, Asian racists etc. The numbers given in your liberal links show no significant racism that would add up to anything worth mentioning. Liberals work to blow racism up to sensationalistic levels to use it as a political tool. Nothing more.

Hmm...I never said anything about a significant number of racists. I just stated that there were racists and that some of them spread lies about Obama. That's the plain truth, whether you believe it or not. Do I think that there were a significant number of white racists? No. If there were a significant amount Obama wouldn't have been elected.

Now that you bring it up, yes, there are racists that come in all colors. I honestly believe that Obama was elected only because people are racists. If he didn't have the black vote, he would never have made it. I spoke personally to several black people and they all stated they were voting for Obama because he was black. Yes, that's racist.

So, much for "While there will always be racism it seems folks like you want to focus only on white racism". I'm not the liberal you seem to think I am Revmitchell. For some reason you have it stuck in your head that just because I'd like to see politics without all the hate that I am a liberal. I'm more conservative than you think and in fact I might be more conservative in some areas than you are .

 

Maybe one day we will actually see evidence of that. How ever it is you define hate. Interesting you see your self as being above what ever it is you define as hate. It is time to wake up.

 

Liberals/leftists/democrats always play the race card. The first incidence of this I recall in the 2008 race was the South Carolina primary when they tied the racist label to Bill Clinton. In the 2008 election they even played the "hate the pro-life conservative woman" card.

 

What are you even talking about? I've never stated that I'm perfect. In fact I'm far from it. So, where have I said I am above anything? If I illustrate hate in my posts, call me out on it. I'm more than willing to take constructive criticism.

I never said the people were legal, I said the law is legal if approved by our lawmakers.

You have to see it from the broader picture, they have loans from US banks and those bad loans are what's clogging the system. I don't necessarily agree with the concept of helping illegals we do need to get the bad loans cleared somehow. If they are able to pay with different conditions then I say give them better terms so they can pay. It is better than having another foreclosure on the market.

 

No one is "giving" them a house, they have to pay for it like you and I.

 

They don't have to pay for it "like you and I" and that's the problem.

 

You and I don't get governement money to pay off our homes.
