    I've learned not to believe ANY age you give, Sherrie. Think I've seen 5+, all varying greatly. Never have figured out why gals are so uptight about chronology???

    I use a rule of thumb </font>
    • 18ish if they've finished high school</font>
    • 22ish if they have kids</font>
    • 40ish if kids away from home</font>
    • 50ish if they have grandkids</font>
    • 65ish if they're retired</font>
    Know this is general and can be off 5+

    I am 55 and thought you were hitting 50 by my calculations. We have a bunch on the BB in that frame. :rolleyes:

    And then Barnabas the Elder and Jim who are fossils. :D

    Soooooooo!! Sherrie! You're admitting that the Doctor Doctor is right???!!

    Blackbird will never admit the Doctor--to be right, that is! I'd have him over for BBQ(since I don't fly the Stars and Bars)--but if he turns out there to be "right" too many times---weeeell, lets just say that Blackbird has a few neighbors who will "ablige" me!!

    So, go ahead! Splurge about your age!!

    There is nothing wrong with a woman turning 50! Consider the alternative! LOL You could be dead! A woman in our church, my age, got sick and was dead in less than one week.

    Well here is the real deal. And I do not know why this is such an issue with people!

    I said I was in my 40's. And that is what I am!

    Everyone is worried about me having kids with kids!

    I made a testimony along while back, stating I was 13 when I had my first child. I even said my daughter had an experience that caused her to have a child. I even said I raised that child until 2 months ago. I said look at my pictures on my homepage.

    I even said my late husband who died in 2000 would have been 43 this month had he lived!

    But my age is soooooooooo important. It is important, by everyone elses standards, for me to be in my 50's. I do not know why! I am glad everyone else is proud to be 50. When I am there, I will be too!

    Sherrie--a while back you started posting some sort of website you could get on to look at other people's drivers licenses---why did your license show you to be 24??

    I ain't got no problem with you being 24! :cool: :cool:

    Contrary to assumptions, my cousin Marley (a good old girl, drives a muscle car and smokes Lukies) became a GREAT grandmother at 42!

    Yes, my neck is red.
