    The most necessary cuts should be closest to the Congress' offices. This is a start.

    The next step, reduce the salaries of every person serving in elected office to the median individual income for their district. Then eleminate their unnecessary perks.

    I thought electronic devices were not permitted on the floor of the House and Senate?

    What perks should we eliminate? I for one do not want to eliminate franking priviliges.

    Anybody else notice that federal employees are exempt from cuts in the congressional committee looking at spending cuts?

    A bow to SEIU. And weak kneed republicans bought into it.
