So what you are saying if someone doesn't agree with you then they are wrong and defensive? I based what the women had to say on the subject on the facts and they do not add up. You are not in my shoes, you do not have all the facts.

I see why this board has the problems it does.

Without the facts no one can make an assessment, we can only use facts we've been given.
basically this is what you've been told,
the pastor was wrong, his action were inappropriate
it was equally inappropriate to entertain his conversation
    seek help from the deacons

I find it hard to believe christians in california are so relaxed on right and wrong they can not see a problem with a married woman entertaining a married mans 'unwanted' attention.
It should not matter where you live, scripture is still scripture and God is always the same.
It's called world view, ours is supose to be scripture based, not world based.

That is precisely what we women knew from your very first post (and some of the men).

That is what we are talking about.

That is why you accused us of being disagreeable.

You have been given much good advice. You just do not want to follow it.

No one can help you unless you want to help yourself.

FYI, personal attacks are against the rules.

I think this board is the greatest!

I see no problems other than an occasional Troll or Flamer...

    In summation:

    • The pastor's actions were inappropriate.
    • Your actions were inappropriate.
    • And, IMO, this thread is inappropriate.

Okay I think we have had enough.

First and foremost this is supposed be a place for pastors to discuss the joys and struggles of the ministry, not a place to raise issues about pastors who are not here to defend themselves.

Secondly, even if this were the right place 11 pages is plenty of discussion.
