We all believe that Jesus Christ died for sinners but how are the damned (non-elect) raised if he didn't die for them?... Just my thoughts... Brother Glen

Help us out and clarify what you are asking.

All men will be raised - the elect to eternal life (heaven) and the non-elect to the Great White Throne Judgment and eternity in the Lake of Fire (hell).

Nobody sleeps through all that noise!

So then Jesus Christ died for the non-elect in that to have a resurrection though the resurrection is to be in eternal torment he died so they might be resurrected.

The difference is in our resurrection the bloood of Jesus Christ covers our sins in the non-elect it does not... Just my thoughts... Brother Glen

What does the fact of Christ's death have to do with an eventual resurrection to damnation for the non-elect.

Would Christ have to have "died for them" in order for death and hell to be cast into the Lake of Fire? I don't follow the logic there.

If their resurrection is not related to his resurrection just in a resurrection of their bodies even though it be for eternal torment then how are they raised? Their dust would just lie in the ground. We will all be raised (the whole Adamic race) but some will be to eternal torment some to eternal glory.
His blood is the key to our resurrection to eternal happiness but it does not apply to the non-elect they are still in their sins.
Case in point the two thieves on the cross. One was going to be with the Lord in paradise and the other one was not... Brother Glen [IMG]

Will ya'll agreed that those raised to an eternal life in heaven will be raised (bodily resurrection) at the rapture of the church in the first part of the second coming, not the advent of the Lord. These will have the Bema Seat (1 Corin). Judgment. Then those raised to an eternal life in hell will be raised (bodily resurrection) at the end of the 1000 year reign of Christ. These will have the White Throne Judgment (Reve 20.

As I understand it, the resurrection is performed by the power of God, somewhat in the same since Jesus said He could "raise" up children of Abraham from the stones. But the death, blood, and resurrection of Jesus Christ affects whether one is raised for damnation or eternal glory.
