    So, Jack, are you willing to accept known error into your church for the sake of "unity" or the supposed "mission and purpose of the church"?

    sadly, one person errors/heresy is anothers biblical truth today!

    In the fine tuning of doctrine, and the quest for doctrinal purity, I don't think you can put forth an argument that confirms everything you believe and teach to be error-free. The gospel is pretty clear, and that is intentional. Not everything else is. There is error in every church, but on this side of perfection, there always will be.

    Wow. That is an incredible statement. So, outside of the Gospel, doctrines such as the Trinity, inspiration of scripture, inerrancy of scripture, the deity of Christ, God's omniscience, God's omnipresence, heaven, hell, et. al. are things are not clear? Not intentional? Thank you, Emergent Church, for post-modern theology that says nothing and means nothing.
