First I would contact WELS and see if they have any space you can use. Tell them what your vision is and ask if they would like to help. The software for the message board could be costly, but then again you could also write it yourself and that would be free. It's not easy learning the language though.

If you want free web pages, you can go to angelfire.com and register for freebies.

They even have an easy editor to help you step by step if you don't know HTML or anything about it. They guide you with a click of a mouse for everything from background color, font color, how to set up links, and more....

Free graphics to download, too., and they don't bump you off if you are on line too long because you don't have Front Page or some other web page maker. (Hint: You can use your notepad to do all your creative writing on and then cut & paste it onto the blank area they provide, after you have perfected your text [IMG] )

If you want your own domain name, though, this won't do, because your web name will just be an extension of theirs, like this (one of my pages):

    http://www.angelfire.com/mt/nashrose/free.html

[IMG] PS: You might just get *hooked* on making pages, like I did a couple of years ago. ;)

I would give this warning to any Christian setting up a site. If one misspells "angelfire" as "anglefire" a porn site pops up!

For that reason, I would avoid it.

Tulpje: Why don't you just take the easy way out and set up your board at ezboard.com? [IMG]

Thanks, Clint, for that info...didn't know that one. Heard if you type whitehouse.com instead of whitehouse.gov, the same thing happens....
