As a Bible teacher, as she seems to be getting pretty popular in female circles!
She's a false teacher. Prosperity Gospelizer. Of course she's growing in popularity, this was predicted.
Would she been seen in same light as say Joel Olsteen ?
Yes, under false light. 2 Cor. 11:14.
Youtube her, and others, and listen to their exaltation of man, faith, freewill. Their teachings are an extension of the errant theology of faith and freewill errors stemming from non-cal and arm theologies.
Paula White-Lite. Or Paula White is Joyce Meyer-Lite. The two are interchangeable.
She's a tricky one as opposed to Creflo Dollar and co., but she is a prosperity preacher. She disguises her moralistic sermons better than most.
Yep - I'm with the others. Don't like her at all. Unfortunately, many women do.
Somehow some in church have come to believe that "edification" means to feel good about ones self. This false theory of edification has lent itself to much error.
How do I view Joyce Meyer?
Looks like you had too many peas in your 'possum soup!
I don't listen to her but know she has a growing following. More than a few years ago I got some stuff from her handed to me. After looking through it I didn't care for it. We don't allow her material to be presented or taught at our church.
Her clandestine financial dealings are troubling as well.
How Do you View Joyce meyer?
I use my eyes.
"The face of a child can tell us a lot of things, especially the mouth part."-- Jack Handey.
I wish someone would give her a cough drop or something.
A false teacher who also has no regard for the word of God as she stands against it on who can be a pastor.
People like to hear positive stories from her or joel .....but they are not sent of God. except as a plague on the land.
I do believe I am going to have to borrow this statement, if you don't mind?
I used to love "Deep Thoughts".
If you don't mind being targeted for telling the truth, go for it!
Oh, I'm pretty well used to it.
Everytime I have watched her , when it was over, I felt like I hadnt really learned anything of substance, and was'nt particularly edified.
On the other hand I would HIGHLY recommend Kay Arthur.
She is an excellant teacher of the scriptures.
