I always hate that, "we need two hundred more dollars" thing.

The Lord just spoke to me...

Someone out there has 1,000 dollars they can give to His service.

Won't ya come? Don't think it's your neighbor. You know how much you have on you today.

Someone has a deed to their car. The Lord says, "Depart from that greed..."

    It's called a second blessing!!!

We all know that if you give $1000 to SFIC, if you dig deep enough, you can find another $1000 for me...

And you will be doubly blessed, twice shakened, and stirred, with blessings running over the top..

Oh wait... that was a recipe for a mixed drink.... uh wait... I have it here somewhere....

Christ wants you rich!!! So sow that seed money right into my ministry... a tree will come forth and produce many blessings... you can even call it your money tree....

And we all know that there was nothing wrong with the money tree in the Garden... it was the Tree of Knowledge that was forbidden...
    So plant that seed today...

For the first 100 fellow planters that sows, into my ministry, a $1000, I will personally send them a replica of a seed that represents the seed of faith that was sown toward your money tree... along with certified, authentic, peice of paper that states you are a money tree partner!

What have you got to lose? It is ONLY $1000...
Imagine the yeild after that seed takes sprout, and starts producing!

Don't make me send the kids with the collection plates out to your house!!!

Weez gots deese two guyz -Vinnie and Tony - see. Vinnie and Tony...ya know...kinda woyk da room for us. Tony...he standz behinds da guy and Vinnie gets all in his face, "Wadda ya got in the pockets, Pops? I'm tinkin' youse wanna be a cheerful giver - ya know what I'm sayin? Wadda gonna do, Pops?"

Our offerings are up 300% since we abandoned the free-will offering. Tithing? You don't even have to discuss it when you ascribe to the deese guys, does guys and dem guys school of thought. Come to think of it, we haven't had any problem fill teaching positions in the Sunday school since Vinnie's cousin Vic took over.

Ah...novel approach. That way those who wander in late aren't missed (but I guess you can always sneak out early, too)

We give before my preaching, so people don't have to give based on my preaching.

Speaking of giving based on preaching. For a Christmas present, our Church gave our pastor a check for $5. His wife, however, received a check for $500 from us.
