Someone right here on the Baptist board said there are as many as 3 gospels.

    Are there 3 gospels?

    Are there more then three?

Gospel means simply "good news". Been LOTS of "good news" proclaimed.

Gospel of the Kingdom preached by John the baptizer and later by Jesus
Gospel of His Son (sometimes of Christ, or the Cross)
    Gospel of Peace
Gospel of the Grace of God
    Gospel of God
    Another Gospel
Gospel of the uncircumcision (to Paul)
Gospel of the circumcision (to Peter)
    Everlasting gospel

But it is all ONE GOSPEL, no matter the label. It is God's grace to undeserving man. From Adam to Bob.

    Duh, yeah!

There is 'another gospel,' and that makes four.

Matthew, Mark, Luke - the three "Synoptics," and another gospel - John.

(You surely knew that someone would not pass up this chance.) :applause:
