    Hi everyone,
Just curious who might have the most miles on your vehicle.I met a man yesterday who had 2 F150's with over 600,000 miles and one with over 700,000 miles. They are about 1994 models.

The most I've had was on a GMC pickup with 270,000.

    God bless,Charles

I shall never know. My odometer broke: most
of the time, it stays the same; sometimes, it
goes forward, and sometimes, it goes back-
ward. I have never seen anything like it before
in my life. I know its average gas mileage from
before it broke, so the only way I can take a stab
at its mileage is by looking at my gas recepits!
It is a '93, so there is no way I am spending the
    money to get it fixed.

Our only vehicle, a '82 S-10 CHEVY ;) has over 335,000 miles on the original engine...the only thing he's ever had to replace is the water & fuel pumps. [IMG]

Them FORDS have probably had their motors replaced...several times over! hahaha [IMG]

    Grannygumbo,
Wow,thanks for sharing. And to think that someone is thinking about getting rid of their s-10 because it has 100,000 miles on it.They just don't know.

Hey,the Fords have not had any major repairs either. Can you imagine 700,000 miles on a pickup.

    God bless,Charles

    I've got 190K on a 95 Grand Voyager, 160K on a 94 Jeep, 140K on a 92 Dodge (my daughter's car), and we just picked up a spare car, a 90 New Yorker with 135K miles.

Since I am not a mechanic or the son of a mechanic, I trade in EVERY vehicle when it hits 70,0000 ish. Still get good value if it is, say, 5 years old.

Have always envied folks who have mechanical abilities to keep vehicles running. My sons were taught by the wife's Dad, so they can tear engines apart (and drive Hyundais since they are cheap and if you can fix things, will last a jillion miles).

Knowing Greek and Hebrew doesn't help when you are stranded 50 miles from a town on a Wyoming back road. Well, except knowing how to cuss in more than one language . . .

91 Corsica - 200,000 (dies at stop lights)
89 Geo Spectrum - 250,000 (no air, ugly car, but drives GREAT!! We are saving it for when our 21 month old daughter is old enough to drive. It'll keep her humble. ;)

91 Isuzu Rodeo with 198,000 and some change. Rebuilt the engine at 160,000. It will probably last until 400,000 miles, but I hope I can get something else before then. Incidentaly, it is the same engine from the S-10 with different motor mounts. Even stamped GM on the block.

    Accord? Civic? Prelude? ???
Later-model Accords IMHO have lots of room, but they feel a little tight when you try to drive them.

The odometer reads 227,455.9 on my 1993 Honda Accord. It's still running pretty well.

But, I want a Ford F150 Super Crew Cab...maybe next year. [IMG] Wish they made them with soundproof glass seperating the driving area from the backseat area where the kids are.

Accord Wagon, which has more room than the Civics I used to drive.

The next step is the SUV by HOnda. Not the CRV.

Had a 1993 Toyota Camry that had 175,000 miles on it, then I got rid of it... I have a 1998 Chevy Blazer with 78,000 miles on it...

    Both good cars.

My 1991 Toyota Camry station wagon has around 200,000 miles. (I'm converting the kilometers to miles in my head, so I might be a little off, but not much.)

My '95 Ford Escort Wagon runs well in every area with 275,000 miles. Our Pontiac Sunbird is showing signs of old age; it's an '85, but has 262,000 currently.

We'll see. I expect the Escort to hit 300,00 in a year. We'll see.
