How do you explain this scripture?

    Jesus said:

Jhn 15:10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.

I think these arguments are an attempt to minimize the importance of discipleship. From this verse and many others, it is extremely important. This is NOT works based salvation. It is serving Christ as Lord.

I believe you covered that Dale. You spoke of His blood.

The shed blood of Christ is the Atonement for the children of God.

Because of this we have His Spirit within us.

    This is our strength.

No, every person will die. Even if you can keep it in your own strength the Bible said that "The sting of death is sin." The only one that has ever overcame that in His own strength was Jesus, the Christ, the Son of the Living God.

Jesus said "Abide in Me and I will abide in you." Pleasing God doesn't require that we do it without our faith and without our Savior and Lord. Who said that it did?

No has said that directly. Sometime I get that impression on here indirectly which is why I posted this.
As for your comments, I just wanted to clarify.
