How may of you have had a black person as a house guest? I have.
Wow, maybe we should award you a medal or something?
what a racist thread, a person is a person, no matter their color, but you make sure you know and advertise their color, drawing attention to them 'looking' different, rewarding yourself for haing a house guest who looks different then you.
Anything that someone does to reduce tensions between the races or between people from different cultures is an act of Christian love.
Really? What was it like? They didn't try to attack your wife or daughter did they? Did you hide all your valuables before they came over?
Hope you made pork chops for dinner, or chicken works too. They love watermelon, make sure to have watermelon for desert.
I have, as well as mexicans, Koreans, Germans, an actual resident African, a Jew or two, and even native Americans. So what?!
Oh, and not to mention what some might call white trailer trash.
OH, OH, OH, now you dud'n gone 'n got insulting.
peace to youraying:
o what? If you consider that to be meaningless why do you do it? Did they pay rent?
I married this crazy white guy, but I like it! Does that count as having a black houseguest?
Here's our racial break down between the seven of us in the family, as far as color.
White, with a lot of questions of whether it's really considered white.
2 White with no question
1 Whitish yellow tannish with a touch of blue
Go figure that one out. hehehe
We try to be cool and blend our food to suit each person's racial make up, so tonight it was lox and fried chicken with white flour biscuits twirled with dark rye bread and green tea mochi for dessert.
(do I have to put a disclaimer on here for those who won't get this? NAAAHHHH)
Alatide is a liberal, it will go right over his head.

This is NOT a racist thread!
Bill is asking a valid question. He did not invite the black family over because he (Bill) thought he was better.
It has been said that Sunday morning is the most segregated day of the week in America.
If someone answers NO - then the question is - why not? Could it be we do have some bias in our blood? or is it our circle of friends is very small.
I think this is an excellent thread and one to take to heart.
The question is a simply question and not racist in any way. I do find it interesting how few have answered the question.
I have had house guests who are:
Here my friend Jemima, comes over every time we have pancakes.
And yes, I am mocking you. Your question shows how dumb liberals are. Just because you have had a Korean or African American or whatever over to your house does not prove you are not a bigot. In fact, anyone who has to tell other people they have had a black or oriental or any other person in their home is really showing they are bigoted. At the very least you are worried you are a bigot, and must prove to others you are not.
Many of the threads and posts here are about how you all Baptists are not racist and don't hate black people. I was curious how you all know that you all are not racist and don't hate black people. Your protests of liberality are a big part of your posts.
Was simply answering the question in the OP, my friend. How 'bout you just answering the question?
Does anyone know what this guy is talking about?
Having a black person as a guest in your home does not prove anything. You just don't get it.
For years my very best friend was a black man named Leroy. He moved back to Philadelphia a few years ago and we have lost contact with each other. He came over to my house several times a week, I went over to his house several times a week. We also worked together.
Once at work a very liberal Democrat who used to debate politics with me asked how I could be friends with Leroy. You see, I am a southerner, so this fellow assumed I was a bigot. I am also one of those dreadful Republicans. I just laughed at the guy.
And that's how liberals are. They are full of bigotry themselves. They think all southerners hate black people which is plain dumb. They fail to see that they themselves are very judgemental of others and full of stereotypical bigotry themselves.
I'm friends with people because of what's under the skin - not the color. Sure I've had all sorts of people be houseguests but honestly that doesn't prove if I'm a bigot or not. I could just be hospitable.
