Nice of you to mention the "Work" of God the Father, which is our coming to faith in HIS son!

The scripture does not say it is our job to do, It says it is the work of God that we believe in His son. God has done all the work, The Christ finished all the work that the father gave to him, too. So what's left for us to do but "hear" and have "faith"? How much Work is there in hearing? What energy does one expend to have faith?

The definition of "FAITH" includes nothing related to work! It is not defined anywhere as the expenditure of energy which the very nature of "work" evokes.

Likewise, there is nothing in "hear" or "Hearing" that denotes the expenditure of energy for its accomplishment.

I'm sure you have your own definitions that are well outside the realm of natural man to comprehend. And I'm quite sure you will bless us with those definitions here in this topic.......won't you?
