It MIGHT be time for a slice of that humble pie... notice I said "might". I depends on how you slice and dice the numbers.

I agree... but I still hate to see my well informed vote being cancelled out by someone who flips a coin!

As we all do. As Pastors we can do our part to educate our churches. On the Sunday before the election I preached on "Taking biblical principles into the voting booth". We should be teaching sound and deep doctrine. We should put in place in our churches teachers who can do the same. We should preach on holiness, hell, and sanctification as well as redemption and heaven. We should make the picture of Christ to be about more than any perceived social justice but about His pure holiness that kept Him worthy to go to the cross. Christ was not worthy because He emphasized social justice, He was worthy because He was without sin. Period

    I agree.

There are far too many people educated more than their intelligence can handle.

Obama was elected because the saw the need for a peaceful revolution. Seems like the sell out is already upon us. Last thing a revolution needs is a peaceful transition.

By them leaving the constitution a document that can be amended they gave the power of determining what the country is to the people. If the constitution doesn't agree with the people, we simply change it so it does.

This is why I am curious about prop 8 in CA. How can the decision of the people be unconstitutional? That doesn't seem possible in a democracy. What ever the majority says is, IS.

I think judges overruling the voice of the people is unconstitutional and perhaps we should make that clear in the next election... Well, I'll give them a chance to do the right thing before I pass judgment.
