    Remember the company who laid off all it's workers at the end of the campaign and the workers wouldn't leave the factory? It appears Serious Materials bought the factory, hired the workers back and have ramped up production because of the demand they expect for its energy efficient windows. Why the sudden demand, you guessed it, the stimulus package... Now that is how it works.

    Yeh, U.S. taxpayers pay $137,000 a year for every $40,000 a year job that was created/saved.

    More GOP twisting of facts, this number would be right if the only purpose of the stimulus was to create new jobs. Then you could divide the package price by the number of jobs it will create etc...

    However, the package will do a lot more than just create jobs so this is not a fair statement.

    It was presented as a 750B "stimulus" that didn't have even 1 peace of pork. That is a big, fat, porkulus lie!

    Just more liberal democrats playing fast and loose with the truth in order to bring the country under a socialist ideology.

    Don't call it "stimulus" if it isn't "stimulus" and don't belly-ache when we call you on the lie.

    So now the government buys people windows? Will this stimulus plan stimulate me by repaying me for windows I replaced last year? It will be cheaper than paying for people's mortgages ... Of course, that means I won't get any money ... it won't cost enough.

    Why does the government decide what businesses fail or make it? I thought that was the market's job.

    Oh well, that's what I get for reading the Constitution...
