The tax liability of every tax paying citizen will increase.

He can't pay for all his programs any other way.

That is not true. You are spreading a falsehood just like your candidate, John McCain, does.

    Yes it is.

Obama cannot pay for all his proposed programs any other way. His "calculator" doesn't take his own spending proposals into account.

It is Obama that is misleading you and lying to all of us.

Are you contending that this bogus "calculator" does take into account Obama's spending proposals?

I wonder how much tax Obama will pay under his own plan?

Does this "tax calculator" take into account that we all will ultimately pay BHO's "windfall profits tax" on big oil at the pump each time we fill up?

Any windfall profits tax will not be paid for at the pump. The price of gasoline is set on the NYMEX and the physical markets, such as the Gulf Coast market. Taxes are not taken into account when these prices are set by the market day by day.

You can keep on believing that if you want to...:tonofbricks:

Corporations do not pay taxes, they pass the cost of taxes on to their clients.

I don't think it makes sense. Obama will install a windfall profit tax, and the fix the price ?

And the tax will not only be felt at the pump, but everything you buy that comes from somewhere else will now cost more.

I work in the industry and I know the truth about how prices are set.

Obviously, you are ignorant on the subject.

Now go post about something you know something about.:D

You should have taken your own advice before you posted this bogus "tax calculator".

Ignorant ? Well I accuse you of dishonesty. If you aren't being dishonest, then you aren't smart enough to bother with. Your argument is silly. I may not work in the oil industry, but I'm not three years old, either.

Then prove that the windfall profits tax in the late 1970s-early 1980s was reflected in the price at the pump - if you can.

It was reflected in gas lines.
