    Pelosi had been Speaker of the House since Jan 2007. She is indeed next line after the VP.


    To another post, it always interests me when the most patriotic Americans say they would flee the country if so and so becomes president.

    Where would you go?
    Do you think running would help?

    Someone said the Majority leader of the Senate is the leader of the senate. Not true. The official designee is the President Pro Tempore of the Senate.

    I had a guy at my house completely freaking out, he had his tent, his skiis, and a full tank of gas and he was driving to Canada. told my wife he had to leave, as we had other guests besides him at our place at the time. I don't know if he's made it yet, but my feeling is that he's an idiot.
