" We must help the fallen become weak, the weak become strong,
the strong become useful and the useful become mature. "

    Dr. Jack Hyles

" A peacock is no more perfect or beautiful than a swan. A peacock is simply magnified in the details.
Beauty under a magnifying glass, is magnified beauty. When early English Bibles dawned, their simple lines
were like the swan. Now they pale with the magnified details of the beautiful King James Bible.
The previous Bishop’s Bible 1568-1611 was no less perfect, pure, and true than the KJV.
It’s beauty was simply polished, like pure gold is polished, so that the KJV magnifies and mirrors
more finely the glorious reflection of our precious Saviour, Jesus, the author. ”

    Dr. Gail Riplinger

" even if the originals were found, the AV would still be superior to them "
    Dr. Peter Ruckman

" While the entire line of scripture are records,
the outstanding record of scripture and the scripture of final authority
is the published text and form of the AV 1611 KJV Holy Bible first edition.
All KJV Holy Bibles are editions of the 1611 KJV first edition.
There were no manuscript revisions until the 1881 Revised Version,
only spelling, measurements and punctuation editions.
KJV Holy Bibles are the most published, read and loved bibles of all time.
KJV Holy Bibles are the most published, read and loved books of all time. "

A couple of opinions there, but to say that the KjV translating was more inspired that Paul is utter heresy.

Are you claiming that the above statement that you quoted made by Gail Riplinger is true?

This is perhaps one of the most frightening statement of all time and a clear sign of an antichrist. To say that God's inspired words that He had written is less superior than a human translation is unfathomable.

I can't even understand how a competent theologian, much less a reasonable Christian, could say what Ruckman said above.

that is indeed heresy, for any holding to the Kjv being more correct/perfect than the originals would be practicing idol worship, making the Kjv a requirement to have a 'right Christianity!"

Heresy is the correct term. When Jack Hyles said that a person could only be saved using the KJV I felt he had nailed his own legacy to the wall and it would all crumble down with him.

I didn't feel insecure in MY salvation (using the 1901 ASV) but I truly questioned HIS. That is a false Gospel and truly evil teaching. :(

Over the years, every bible version has had its adherents and admirers. However, some people took that love of the KJV, which was the commonest English version, and turned it into a doctrine of exclusivity, saying the KJV was the ONLY valid English version out there, building a whole industry around that myth.
The gang Mak cited above are three of the worst of the bunch.

Riplinger, whose deliberate misquotes of other authors is well-established, is also known for having a vivid imagination, making up stuff as she writes her boox and keeps herself a darling of the highly-paid lecture circuit.

Hyles, whose "you can only be saved thru the KJV" stuff is pure HERESY, equating an English Bible translation to our Lord Jesus Christ, was also exposed as an adulterer during his pastorate. As a cop, I saw many a witness testify during many a trial, and I can say that those who swore to Hyles' affair, including the hubby of Hyles' mistress, were quite believable.

Ruckman had some good LEGITIMATE teaching, but the devil's leaven had crept in. As several people have stated above, his teaching that "the KJV corrects its sources" is utter fantasy and very heretical. And we must remember that he claims the antichrist will be a 10-ft. tall alien who will land a huge spaceship on the Mount of Olives and will impart the "mark of the beast" with a kiss of his huge black lips. (The SOURCE of this statement is Ruckman's own book, Mark Of The Beast.)

Mak, if you believe any of that gang is a LEGITIMATE source of intel, I feel sorry for you!

Those two verses do not refer to a translation of the Scriptures.

Those two verses provide no scriptural support for the KJV-only private interpretation or speculation that a translation should be considered superior to the Scriptures in the original languages given by inspiration to the prophets and apostles.

Hebrews 11:5 "By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God."

Colossians 1:13 " Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:"

I see that you know how to use the search feature on a word, but what does this have to do with Bible translations?

When God translates, there is obviously improvement.
    Predestination, inspiration, providence and preservation
continued throughout final canonization and publication of scripture.

There are O.T. Hebrew translations in the Greek N.T.

Are these translations inspired of God ?

God can improve on Himself? What is the Scriptural support for that?

Wow. My God got it right the first time. He didn't have to keep trying till He got it right.

Your god seems have needed a long time to finally get his word the way he wanted it.
