But I did watch the good-bye thread, and have to say one thing.

Somebody took the high road, complaining about the names people called Obama. And it was the same person who has called out names like "pig-boy", "Man Coulter", & "Caribou Barbie".

The left has no high road on the name calling, and I find it offensive that they would claim so.

There is another person saying things like "get lost", and repeatedly calling our troops "murderers", this person also has a nasty habit of disappearing when challenged.

There is another person, a libertarian, whom I respect otherwise, who is demanding that the name calling stop, yet he was absolutely silent during the Bush years.

The left has blamed the Iraq war solely on Bush, despite the facts. I think the left has to face the fact that while their guy won, a lot of Americans are very unhappy with it. Just like they have been for the previous eight years. In short, they dished it out, and now it;s their turn to take it. Man up, address the facts, and stop demanding something you weren't willing to do, before.

The fact that he lied and presented false report to Congress to get them to support the war? We went in with no exit strategy? We used our money to rebuild Iraq while they amassed Billions? No way, Bush did a great job. Almost as good as the disappearing $350 Billion of the first TARP money.

Besides Rush??? There are other unhappy American's? Isn't that un-american?

    October 9, 1998 Mr. President,
Today, along with Senators McCain, Lieberman, Hutchison and twenty-three other Senators, I am sending a letter to the President to express our concern over Iraq’s actions and urging the President `after consulting with Congress, and consistent with the U.S. Constitution and laws, to take necessary actions (including, if appropriate, air and missile strikes on suspect Iraqi sites) to respond effectively to the threat posed by Iraq’s refusal to end its weapons of mass destruction programs

    John Kerry

As a member of the House Intelligence Committee, I am keenly aware that the proliferation of chemical and biological weapons is an issue of grave importance to all nations. Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology which is a threat to countries in the region and he has made a mockery of the weapons inspection process.
The responsibility of the United States in this conflict is to eliminate weapons of mass destruction, to minimize the danger to our troops and to diminish the suffering of the Iraqi people

    John Kerry

I challenge you to prove the above letters fraudulent, like Dan Rather's CBS memos.

Or you can finally admit this was not just Bush's mistake.

    Also....

"Iraq is a long way from [here], but what happens there matters a great deal here. For the risks that the leaders of a rogue state will use nuclear, chemical or biological weapons against us or our allies is the greatest security threat we face." — Madeline Albright, Feb 18, 1998 USIA

"He will use those weapons of mass destruction again, as he has ten times since 1983." — Sandy Berger, Clinton National Security Adviser, Feb 18, 1998 USIA

Yes, but I noticed you left out the next paragraph. That is a great conservative skewing of facts and y'all being doing it for years. Clinton encouraged us to work with the international community to being Saddam into compliance. Had we of done that, we would not have so much of the burden in Iraq.

Really ? Is that why they all signed off for Bush to invade ? What was Hans Blix's role in all of this ? And I gave you plenty of other letters. Did that nasty ol' Bush start his Iraq planning in like 1997 ?
