It would appear that the Guardian has censored what was originally written and apologized. Here is what was originally at this link:

Good Lord. So according to our more enlightened brethren overseas, war is bad, but suggesting someone assasinate a world leader is good???

    Hypocrites.

Yeah, what a barrel of laughs these goobers are.

No wonder we had to bail them out of WW II.

Kinda' low blow there TP. I really believe the WWII ilk were made of much sterner steel than the moderns.

Following your logic, you would have to "condemn" the bulk of the USA'ers today, but you are aware, I'm sure, what the WWII'ers were like!?

I really feel that you meant the moderns anyway don't you; just a bit of a mis-statement? That's my take on your intentions anyway!

I'm voting against Kerry, because in his state, it's illegal to drive a truck with your dog in the back. That's the kind of America he wants.

Now why do you suppose they went and made a law like that?

Could be they considered the deaths and injuries to the poor mutts was cruel. Imagine making cruelty to your own property illegal! Stupid liberals!

I had a beagle when I was a kid, and I had this old pickup. He used to ride in back. Then one day, on the way to the dump, he saw a rabbit. (I was doing about 40 at the time)

He recovered, but I was pretty upset with myself for a while. Thereafter, he rode in the passenger side.

Did he break his leg? Was there any damage to the dog at all?

What a thread. Half make logical arguments that aren't flattering to Bush. The other half hurl childish personal insults. That's pretty much the tone of the Bush campaign.

So let me get this straight, Kerry would like abortion without parental notification for 16 year olds, but you can't have a dog in the back of your truck ?

I'm sorry, but that's just stupid.

Conservatives have not only excepted liberal policies but have adopted the same name calling tactics.

    Isn't collectivism grand?

My apologies for delay in reply. Couldn't get online last night.

Joseph, I think U.S. Diplomatic and Commercial Relationships with Iraq, 1980 - 2 August 1990 (sources provided in footnotes) covers most of it through Reagan & Bush Sr years. My apologies for not having anything detailed on Clinton's term, will go looking over the weekend.

Senator Riegle's Statement to the Senate gives list towards the end of some of nasties sent to Iraq by U.S.

TP, yer not a Jedi [IMG] Who said anything about dying? [IMG] Just need a strong enough pretzel induced nap to either take W out of the job, or wake him up a bit [IMG]

[IMG] Joseph, I see, everyone who doesn't like W is liberal? Typical bourgeois tactics of....Just kidding [IMG] I'm slightly to the right of Genghis Khan mate ;)

Was going to type a bit about Guardian quote but wayyyy past my bed-time here. Might have to attack that when get on tonight....hmmmm....one more quick one before I go....

tp, you really should go see Yoda and hand in your Jedi licence...Unless "enlightened brethren overseas" is refering to the Guardian article...hmmm...let me know so I can have another rant when I get online tonight :D

    G'night all [IMG]

That is wishing another human being harm. Where can I find the Scripture reference which makes this OK if it's a sitting President?
