    Recently someone made fun of those of us who cling to Obama message of hope. I have always believed the strength of a Christians faith is our hope (Heb 11:1). We have seen some incredible things this election which strengthens my hope even more. We've seen a woman on the republican ticket and a black man receive the democratic nomination. 100 years ago, neither of these were even possible.

    Here is another sign of hope. I pray the nation can come together as one, even for just one day and remember those who paid the ultimate price in the cause of freedom.

    I'm sorry. I fail to understand how Obama's policies are related to the gospel. Can you clear ths up for me?

    I think that on September 11 that we should all have a "ceasefire" in this forum and not post anything partisan out of respect for those who have given all for our freedom.

    I said and I quote, "I have always believed the strength of a Christians faith is our hope (Heb 11:1)." I didn't associate Obama message of hope to the Gospel.

    A wonderful idea. Nothing about the war. Nothing about the campaign. No back-door attacks in the name of not being political (See Obama on Labor Day). Just don't post anything. Or if something is posted, let it be in tribute to our nation.

    Kudos to a great idea. I have serious doubts some can resist the urge to do what they do best, though.
