I can't seem to get the point of the ESPN commercial where Drew Brees is driving a parade float and holding up traffic at the ESPN front gate. Is the point simply that he's from New Orleans and might drive a Mardi Gras float?

I fail to see any humor in this commercial. Am I missing something?

ESPN commercials have been rather humorless for some time now.

I am trying to find out what makes it humorous. Why is it funny to you?

I think it's the fact that since he can't go forward, he needs to go back, but since everyone is impatient they keep beeping for him to move, which he can't because he's waiting for them, which irritates them so they keep beeping for him to move, but he can't because....

Kind of like the idiots in traffic jams in real world who start beeping in bumper to bumper traffic. It's so stupid it's funny.
