You couldnt be more wrong. You are personally trying to assign blame on me for not voting for McCain which is comparable to blaming how the woman dressed for the rape. It is that logic that is flawed that needs correction.

    I'm not assigning anything.

If your vote is wasted on a third party candidate with absolutely no chance to win and you help elect Obama by doing so, you should take personal responsibility for the effect of your vote.

You have indicated you won't do so.

You did say that a vote for a third party was a vote for murdering babies.

Again your logic is flawed. My responsibility is to the one I voted fro alone. I am not obligated to vote for a candidate that is as worthless as the other.

    Sorry , Roger.

    You're just plain wrong.

You can make that leap if you wish , but I never said it.

Perhaps you should reread it before you spread that falsehood any further.

Do you know what "akin" is?

So you still refuse to take responsibility for the effect of your vote.

    I understand.

You still use flawed logic and assign responsibility where it doesn't belong.

    Okay, I'll play the game.

A third party vote is not in any way similar, especially very similar, to a vote to murder babies despite your flawed logic.

A third party vote is just that, a vote for the individual that a person thinks is the best qualified for the job. A vote like that for a Christian is God-honouring and is NOTHING like a baby killer vote.

God doesn't need our human scheming. We should vote our conviction and of that means voting third party than so be it.

Thats right. Again carpo's logic blames the woman for the rape because of the way she was dressed. Doesn't add up.

    No, it's not.

But the refusal to take responsibility for the effect of one's vote is...

    and that's what I said.

Play your game with the facts. It'll be more fun. I promise.

Lets say Presidential Candidate A is a Republican, not a good Republican because the other Republicans say he is like a Democrat and lets say candidate A is saying everything you want to hear even though before he was rather vague about issues that you have always been concerned with. Now lets say candidate B is a flaming Democrat Liberal( Booo ...Hssss )and ya aint gonna vote for him, in fact every little bit of dirt you can find on this guy whether it is true or not you gonna spread that dirt. Now lets say Candidate C is a third party guy and has always held true to his convictions and it falls right in line with what Candidate A is now saying but he is after all only third party. Are you gonna vote for a guy who has always held onto his convictions (Candidate C) or are you gonna vote for the iffy guy (Candidate A) who is now saying what you want to hear.

Sticking to convictions is only as valuable as your actual convictions.

Exactly right yet there ae those who will treat this election as if it is the only two major parties that exists. They find excuses to stay loyal to their party and vote accordingly as their principals and convictions go flying out the window.

I dont know that everyone is being loyal to their party. I believe some are actually voting against someone rather than voting for someone. The bigger fear drives them to the candidate they see has the best chance rather than their convictions.

Myself I am not going to simply hold my nose out fo fear. And if this country is ever going to have more than two dominant parties we have to start considering those in other parties rather than rationalizing our vote to ease our conscience because of fear of an alternate candidate. The best thing we can do is vote our convictions. That strength (that some lack) is how this country got started. And it is the biggest agent for change contrary to popular liberal belief.
