I searched the scriptures but I didn't find any mention of Biblezine or Refuel at all.
Much less the accusations that SFIC has made.

Perhaps they are true. I am not going to say anyone is a liar when I don't know. But neither am I going to take someone's word for something they are unwilling to post.

I might add that this is a complete misapplication of scripture.

    For instance:

The preacher says that the Bible says not to commit adultery in Exodus 20.
So the people go home and "search the scriptures" to find that Exodus 20 does indeed prohibit adultery.

The next week the pastor says that Joe Smith commited adultery.
Joe's friends are very upset and confront the pastor.
THe pastor replies: It is your job to "search the scriptures" to prove me wrong!

What kind of sense does that make.

Linda mentions that a person in a court of law is innocent until proven guilty. I agree. And if we give that publisher the benefit of the doubt, then we need the documentation.

Others have called SFIC a liar.
That also is somewhat unjustified because...well not totally but I will give him the benefit of the doubt as well.

For what it is worth, I am not too impressed by these "Biblezines" and I don't think I would want my daughter reading one.

But we still need to be fair.
    Accusations need to be documented.

As the poster who reported this mentioned, we don't need round 3 on this topic. There is no need to carry the squabbles on into another thread.
