If a Baptist Converts to Islam have they lost their Salvation?

i'm also of the opinion that if someone is truly a follower of Jesus Christ, they will not "convert" to Islam.

 

The question was: If a Baptist Converts to Islam have they lost their Salvation?

The question assumes the person was saved and have they lost their salvation?

Assuming the person was ever saved, they cannot lose their salvation. Would a christian ever convert to Islam? Doubtful. Impossible? I dunno!

 

Pure conjecture on my part...the person could
be in rebellion ..embittered by something that
happened to him in the church and in his
rebellion seeks another religion. I think he
is still saved but his inheritance may not
be what he thinks it will be...that is to
say the refineing fire will burn
hate and bitterness up..the end result he still
comes out of the fire and he is saved.

I am sure this has probably happened to some
people it would be interesting to hear there
story...perhaps a good christian magazine could
do an investigative report.
