As a young radio broadcaster back in the 1950s, our role model was Paul Harvey, particularly his style of delivery. We all wanted to sound like him.

Paul Harvey was at ease in taking about God and spiritual matters. Through his broadcasts it became clear that he was a believer.

And because he had such insights, I considered him a modern-day prophet, of sorts.

I had the privilege of greeting Paul Harvey when he came to Paducah, Kentucky to deliver a speech. I had met him in 1962 my home town of Jackson, Tennessee, where he spoke at Union University's commencement. Both speeches were more than an hour, and he held us in rapt attention.

Sound bite in the OP has to be 40 years old. It is just as valid now as it was back then.
