I haven't heard of any Republicans who hope for a defeat in Iraq. But I may have missed someone.

I haven't heard of any Democrat officials doing that, either.

And you are biased, carpro - see no good in Democrats, hear no good from Democrats, speak no good about Democrats - regardless of what Democrats actually say.

I, on the other hand, have spoken about what I agree and disagree with concerning Republicans and Democrats during my years on this board.

Yes, I am. Among the major parties, Democrats represent the worst that can be offered to this nation.

You are biased as well. You're just biased against both. I've been trying to figure out what you actually stand for. It's easy to be a sniper or an aginner. Much more difficult to take an unambiguious stand for something.

You're not as special as you think you are.

That's not hard to figure out. I stand for personal and economic liberty, and the U.S. constitution.

    Mr

Republicans have to run on the Bush legacy. That was extremely bad for America. So in that sense it's good for Democratic candidates. Bush should be impeached.

This type of bias, negating anything good about the opposition party, shows a lack of critical thinking and the inability to even see the other man's point of view.

You obviously wouldn't know a communist if one bit you on the rear.

Anything said positive about the democrats or republicans is a lack of critical thinking.

You are biased as well. Being biased doesn't mean one can't recognize a good idea coming from democrats, in my case, or Republicans, in your case, but it does mean that we examine what they propose with some extra care.

There is no doubt that democrats have become the party of appeasement and defeatism. They stand against the sanctity of life, the sanctity of marriage, and free speech (unless it's treasonous or pornagraphic).

They stand for censorship of the media, ever higher taxes, increased government power over us, and govt. seizure of private property if it increases taxes.

It may have even taken some "critical thinking" to see through their smokescreen and rhetoric.

Not much good in there, but I keep hoping.:praying:

Yet you can't see that the republicans stand for pretty much the same things these days? Well, at least the republicans are willing to engage in endless military nation building adventures in the name of freedom and democracy to keep the faithful entertained and happy. I suppose thats something to be proud of. For being pro life they've sure shown no compunction when it comes to taking lives in other countries. And spending habits? Who can top the republicans on that one? It was under a republican administration that government grew by over fifty percent, the democrats must be beside themselves with grief for not being able to pull that one off themselves. Emminent domain? No property rights for us little people anymore bubba. Habeas corpus? Due process? Rule of law? Bill of Rights? Constituton? Who needs all that anyways? Not us we got the unitary decider on our side to keep us safe from terrorists and government abuses. Lucky us.
