Afraid of what will happen if gay marriage is legalized in the states? Here is an article from this past Sunday's NYTimes which may ease your fears. In Toronto, Canada, which has a high gay population and legalized gay marriage on June 10th of this year, only 590 couples have applied for marriage and 100 of those were Americans who crossed the border. Read the comments and you will see that, for the most part, gays do not want to be monogamous.

The distaste for monogamy among gays is one of the prime criticisms of homosexuality. We conservatives say that homosexuality is inherently promiscuous and therefore unhealthy (emotionally, not to mention physically). The gay rights movement has accused conservatives of stereotyping gays when we argue this way, yet here is the evidence of the problem from the mouths of homosexuals themselves.
