Donald Trump has made yet another announcement that will dismay Democrats across the country, and that is his choice for Attorney General. Trump tweeted that his pick for Attorney General is South Carolina conservative Rep.Trey Gowdy, who currently chairs the U.S. House of Representative’s Select Committee on Benghazi.

Gowdy has been a constant thorn in the Obama administration’s side, and has exposed the White House’s incompetence on everything from amnesty to IRS abuses to the illegal deletion of Clinton’s emails.

Trump’s tweet read, “@HillaryClinton’s toast. Dems had better get the”B Team” off the bench. @TGowdySC for Attorney General under President Trump.” This tweet came right on the heels of an announcement that Trump would want Sarah Palin on his Cabinet.

Naah. Trey Gowdy needs to be disbarred and whatever they do to Congressmen for these sham hearings he confessed were designed with one purpose.

And conservative Christians should be ashamed of showing any support for a man who lacks that kind of character. But again, if Christians will support someone like Donald TRump, they might as well throw in their support for abortion and gay marriage too because after Romney and now Trump, staking a higher ground on morality just ain't something Trump supporters need to try and sale to the American public.

Sounds like you're trying to find some reason to support you holding your nose to vote for someone you said you wouldn't vote for.

I eagerly clicked on this post hoping it would be an announcement that Trump was resigning from running for President and endorsing Ted Cruz.

That Trump tweet is a year old. Back in December Trump, who had been saying good things about Gowdy, took offense when Gowdy endorsed Rubio and accused Gowdy of muffing the Benghazi hearings.

Trump said that he didn't need conservatives. In Pence, he picked a moderate at best. Pence made it legal in Indiana to sue Christians if they declined to accommodate the LGBT agenda in their businesses. Trump won't listen to anyone. He rescued Pence from a losing campaign to be re-elected Governor of Indiana. It is now even doubtful if Trump-Pence can carry Indiana as Evan Bayh will be at the top of the Indiana ticket running for his old Senate seat with a campaign war chest of ten million dollars left over from six years ago. Trump and Pence are anything but Reagan Republicans.

Pence signed a law protecting Christians for being forced to accommodate the LGBTDSC agenda, and he defended that law. He did sign a law greatly watering down the first law, in the face of shrikes from the Left, and I wish he hadn't. But, he was being pragmatic. Still, if he gets his way, he'll do the right thing. And, Hillary's Supreme Court will make the whole sodomite agenda the law of the land. Religious freedom will be dead and the Constitution nullified.

Who should Trump have gone with, instead of Pence?

Pence sold out fast because he did not care. Trump rescued him from a difficult re-election campaign.
