I'd want to go back a few years so I could see Victor Borge in concert.

The World War II years! I am a WWII buff--and would have loved to given a hand.

There are several eras I'd like to visit, but only if I could do it temporarily. Why? I am too spoiled by our modern conveniences!

Did anyone see the Victorian House show that was on PBS not long ago? A modern family attempted to live in an authentic Victorian house for just a few months,I believe. The stipulation: they had to live EXACTLY as a Victorian family would have lived, with NO modern conveniences at all.

I only saw an episode or two, but it was interesting how stressful it was to do simple things like take a bath, bake a cake or wash some clothes.

Also, I think we would find that everyone would smell pretty bad by our standards. In most eras in the past, people bathed very infrequently. With no air conditioning, dry cleaning or antiperspirants, I think it might get kind of funky. [IMG]

Still, I wouldn't mind jetting back for a day in pre-Civil War America or Victorian England.

I wish I, as an adult, could go back to little Abiyah
at age two, or whatever age that was that I
remember telling my first lie so that I would be
able to leave my room within my lifetime, and I
tell her not to give in. I had something precious
before that lie, which disintegrated with the lie
and led me down a long, long trail of destruction.

I've always been intrigued since I was a child by England in the day when Henry VIII was in power. I might like to see that time, although I wouldn't want to live in it.

I would like to go back and see if I could research my family line and figure out when, by whom, and more importatly why my people decided to come here many generations ago.

Wouldn't mind visiting the United States before the Mayflower landed. (one of my ancestors reportedly was on it)Then I could visit my other ancestors who were here before that. And see the land before it was changed from it's natural state.

Would like to see what Los Angeles looked like before it was developed. I would even like to see it back in it's hay-day. Before the decay of years took hold.

Sure wish this question was about traveling forward in time.... I find that subject even more interesting to ponder. I wonder if we get to watch our future family generations from Heaven. I wonder what new inventions and medical cures etc. will be discovered or created. And what about transportation and style? Very interesting to think about.
