If You Were Not Baptist, What Would You Be?

    Interesting question...

    I'm not very sure what I would be. I like in the heartland of Pentecostal/charismatic churches, but I would have nothing to do with any of that bull. :D I haven't seen much from any mainline denom that I could agree with much less sit under.

    I guess I would see Evangelical Free or Bible, but I haven't researched them very much. Whatever I went with would be after much reading and prayer, and it would have to be very conservative. I don't do liberal with the bible, churches, or politics and I ain't about to start.

    Perhaps Evangelical Covenant but most likely United Church of Christ. The idea of giving up local church autonomy is more then I even imagine.

    Non-denominational, probably.

    If I had to choose a denomination, probably one of these: PCA, EPC, or LCMS.

    Why do people keep choosing "non denominational" when the OP clearly asks "If you were forced to choose another denomination, what would it be"?
