Is anyone here familiar with the work of Velikovsky? More importantly, where can I get my hands on some copies of his books? The hearest copies to me are at the University of Chicago!

I would also love to discuss some of the strengths and weaknesess of his view on Bible history and the astronomical events to explain many miracles.

Try Amazon. Also Barnes and Noble. You might well be able to acquire a 'used' copy "on the cheap".

Never read his stuff but he has been discussed many times on CtoC. see www.coasttocoastam.com As reported, his stuff sounds like science fiction. He predicts a mystery planet of this solar system will appear and do nasty things.
