Impeachment Teach-Ins Seek to Oust Bush, Sell Books
    By Nathan Burchfiel
    CNSNews.com Staff Writer
    July 21, 2006

(CNSNews.com) - A coalition of liberal groups this week launched a nationwide campaign to educate Americans on impeachment and encourage them to support impeaching President Bush.

"Since 9/11 it has been clear that the principle enemy of democracy has been in the White House," said Bill Goodman, legal director for the Center for Constitutional Rights (CCR) in the group's documentary "How to Impeach a President."

The group claimed that Bush should be impeached because of the warrant-less wiretapping program, alleged torture of Muslim detainees in U.S. custody, and because he "committed fraud on Congress."

I think he should be impeached for refusing to deport 10,000 muslim illegal aliens after 09/11. And for failing to defend and protect our borders. On that score, Congress should be impeached, too.

Too bad we can't impeach for stupidity. Agree with this editorial almost 100% - the American people being led like sheep to the slaughter, IMO:

They must really want us to believe it's all stupidity pretty bad. It isn't they know exactly what they are doing. Letting illegals pour in and to give them amnesty works out for the globalists. Divide and conquer LE.

Don't worry. The demoncrats will sweep both houses of Congress in 2006, and win the presidency in 2008. If you think we're in quicksand now, just wait until those "happy days are here again."

There are no happy days. Both parties are corrupt to the core like a rotten apple left out to bake in the sun too long, festering with maggots.:tear:

We do have ourselves in a pickle. The Republicans have failed miserably to govern this nation, both Congress and the President. They deserve to lose power. The problem is that what replaces them (democrats) are no better if not worse. We have 300 million Americans, some of them very, very bright with good leadership ability. So why is it that every four years we end up the two pieces of garbage to choose from? Why is that? Is it a reflection of what we as Americans deserve?

The King's heart is in the hand of the Lord,
Like rivers of water; He turns it wherever He wishes. Prov 21: 1

A man's heart plans his way,
But the Lord directs his steps. Prov 16 : 9

For exaltation comes neither from the east nor from the west nor from the south,
    But God is the judge:
    He puts down one,
    And exalts another. Psalm 75 : 6,7

Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves. Romans 13:1,2

Our job is to be very discerning when we vote and then to be obedient and supportive of whom we voted for! God is aware and He rules this world in all sovereignty!

It is a given that God is soverign in all things including history and nations. Yes, we should vote with guidance from above. That does not mean when leaders betray trust, fail to lead, and are basically dishonest, that we as Americans are mandated to keep putting them in power.

Could that be construed to mean that Christians should stop supporting and voting for politicians who believe in slaughtering the unborn and openly supporting the state sanctioning the sin of homosexuality in same sex marriage?

I think the problem is Christians have stopped praying, believing instead that voting is the solution.

    1 Timothy 2:1-2
    1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

No it's a reflection of what we Americans will put up with and how dumbed down we've become. We have a lamestream media that is owned and operated by the very same people that lobby (bribe/purchase) politicians to pad their nests with favorable legislation and monetary handouts. The monopoly media and their monopoly corporate partners operate hand in hand often sharing the same people on their boards, while one hand uses it's power to manipulate us with half truths and one sided information and manufacture our consent with fear and prejudices the other hand is busy looting our country and our people of our rights, our wealth, our property, our childrens minds and bodies, even our sovereignty as a nation.

As long as Americans can be manipulated into thinking in terms of left vs right, democrat vs republican, liberal vs conservative they'll continue to have us under their thumb. It doesn't matter who we vote for, now more than ever because the electronic vote machines themselves can be remotely manipulated, the elite own almost all the horses in the race with very few exceptions like Ron Paul and Tom Tancredo and sometimes I even wonder about Tancredo. When a race is rigged like that there can only be one winner and it will never be the American people.

What's the odds that two Skull and Bones members would be running for the office of POTUS "against each other" with only 15 members picked per year or 800 members total at any one given time? Think about it. It's easy to win a horse race when you own all the horses. And we, the American people own none of them. Until we can look beyond the horse races and see the horses owners for what they really are and what their agenda really is we'll be stuck shoveling out the stalls and sacrificing every prinicple this country was founded on along with our children's future. Now rush on out and vote for your favorite nag on a corporate sponsored e vote machine!

Should be construed that we should vote against the evil.

    How are you?

We should pray - we are commanded, as you pointed out. But, we should vote against evil. When Paul wrote - they could not vote, or I think he would have told us to do that as well.

    God bless

Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man! Eccl 12 : 13

He has showed thee, O man, what is good, and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God! Mic 6 : 8

If that happens, the legislative process will come to a complete halt. We will have nothing but hearings, investigations and special prosecutors for the next two years as democrats seek revenge for Bill Clinton and losing two presidential elections in a row.

If you think for one second that those in power are going to simply let the opposition take control of Congress, you have vastly underestimated their resolve. They have demonstrated time and time again that the only thing that matters is winning, and that end always justifies the means.

The Democrats WILL NOT take control of Congress.

Please show us the Scriptural Support for such a claim. And what exactly do you mean by voting "against evil?"
