It is an absolute lie currently being peddled by the extreme far left. The insurance plans on the individual market are not bad or disastrous. The American people will never buy into it because they already know.

People like their insurance plans. What obamacare offers is nothing more than major medical plans with high premiums. That is what is disastrous and inadequate.

This current campaign will only further erode the already faltering trust in Obama and the dems.

As I don't currently have speakers, someone help me out. What's he say?

    -----
Edited to add: if Rev is indicating that he listened to it, then CTB -- you need to really re-evaluate "he's correct in what he says."

Tell me something: Once you pay off your car, you're allowed to choose between continuing with full (comprehensive) coverage, or less coverage, or just liability. If your choice is going with liability and using the difference between comprehensive and liability to buy more food, which one is any reasonable person going to choose? (answer: Liability, of course; and use the extra money for things we couldn't previously afford while paying for comprehensive)

The government has told us that we have to have comprehensive coverage, and isn't giving us the option of liability. Talking with a fellow employee the other day, I asked why I should change my plan to meet the Obamacare minimum standard, and pay for things like maternity care and other feminine-related items if I'm a single guy? His answer was, because someday I might get married.

How does that make *any* sense? At the time I get married, her individual insurance plan and my individual insurance plan would either merge, or we'd change to a new "family" plan that covered us both, and would probably be cheaper than our individual plans. In the meantime, why don't I have the option for coverage that covers me, and doesn't cover things that I will never need, and ends up charging me more so that I can subsidize the insurance of other people?

So CTB, please give this some careful, careful consideration: Is he really correct in what he says?

He said that obama did the right thing because all insurance plans on the individual market are substandard and woefully inadequate and now they can get real insurance.

As Nancy Pelosi recently said that she never heard anyone say that they liked their current plan. It seems that all current plans are sub-standard. So many people do not have an insurance agent but they are getting health care, nevertheless. This is an insurance salesman's nightmare. Everyone should have insurance and the best insurance, as the Ivy League as repeatedly told us, is government insurance like they have in Cuba or in the old Soviet Union, which by the 1990s had installed hot water heaters in all hospitals.

If I'd known it was Sanders speaking, I wouldn't have clicked on it. The man is a socialist at best, and most likely a communist, neither of which will hesitate to lie about free enterprise products.

There is nothing wrong with the insurance plans offered by American insurance companies. Nancy Pelosi said she's never heard anyone say they like their plan? I've never heard anyone said they don't like their plan. Sanders lies, the Great Pretender lies, most of the Democratic Party lies, and Crabtownboy lies.

    Why do we bother?

Are you ever going to back up your assertion that there are White Supremacist Groups affiliated with the Tea Party ?

Or can we just lump that comment in with these ?

You haven't proved anything, except your own hatred.

A terrible argument. People knew their plans were limited, but they liked the price.

I saw a 59 year old single lady who complained her policy was cancelled. She said she has no need of maternity coverage and was perfectly satisfied with the limited coverage it offered. It fit in her budget and covered substantial losses.

All this is is the Democrats telling people they are too stupid to purchase their own insurance plans. They need the educated "elite" to force them to buy "good insurance"

Most people do not understand insurance to begin with. Insurance is intended to cover catastrophic loss. Insurance was never intended to cover minor things like having your teeth cleaned, but it is intended to cover major problems like coming down with cancer.

One of the reasons insurance has become so expensive is because folks want to run to the doctor every time they sneeze. Insurance was never intended to cover problems like this.

You said it. Wait till he learns that the Ivy League has gutted Medicare and installed death panels to determine who gets an ambulance at what age.

Exactly right! Too bad the Democrats have chosen to disregard the truth.

You haven't a brain in your head, but you sure are good at doing the Great Pretender's job for him. Does he pay you by the post, or is it an hourly thing? How much does it pay to repeat

There is some truth to this. My individual plan for myself and my two sons (wife has coverage through work) was terrible. Essentially a catastrophic plan. My premiums for the three of us was $560 a month. My deductible was a family deductible of $7,900. Any expense such as office visits, prescription drugs, ER visits, etc. was out-of-pocket. Therefore I would need to spend $14,420 out-of-pocket (monthly premiums plus deductible) before I saw one dime of insurance coverage.

This is a substandard plan. I don't know anyone with a plan this bad. It's been canceled.

However, no matter how terrible that plan was I could CHOOSE it if I wanted. Now, under ObamaCare I can get essentially the same plan but for $656 a month, with $7,700 deductible. I still have to pay out-of-pocket for everything as before but now I've got maternity care, newborn care, and mental health care. Whoopee! Like I need those "improvements" to my plan? Don't think so.

We've switched over to my wife's plan through her workplace. It is $630 per month (for all four of us) with a $3,900 deductible, $40 co-pay for office visits, $20 co-pay for drugs. Up until this year adding us to her plan would have cost $900 a month. Apparently something about ObamaCare caused her company to offer a better set of plans to their workers.

There is no truth to it. That is what you chose. But the vast majority of Americans like the plans they had. However, in the infinite wisdom of Obama he needs responsible and healthy people to pay higher premiums that include coverage they do not need so that our money can be redistributed for those who are essentially given insurance for free. This will hurt the middle class in a very severe way. It will curtail hiring, spending, and saving.

And the current batch of plans lost is only the tip of the iceburg. Wait till the employer mandate kicks in. 10's of millions of plans will be canceled.

So you are admitting Obama and the democrats lied. That is a good step. Pretty soon, you can show you truly care about the country, and not just the democrats, by being more honest, like this. Good job, C.T.Boy.
