A college student was home for the weekend and came to church today. At the end of church he approached me and gave me a fist pound. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fist_pound It's not the first time we've done it. My kids and I do it. We did it in High School (in the 80's), my kids do it today. I do it at with co-workers. I see people do it where they wouldn't normally shake hands. I think of it as a greeting gesture and see nothing wrong with it. Anyways someone mentioned they saw me doing it and thought it was inappropriate. Imagine what they would think if I gave him a Holy Kiss. Then there's the pound hug. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pound_hug .. Something I do on occasion with friends and family. Do you find these inappropriate greeting gestures?
