A new report is highlighting the enormous carbon footprint of the upcoming presidential inauguration.

The report was compiled by the Institute for Liberty using data from federal agencies, environmentalist organizations, and news accounts. Institute president Andrew Langer says their calculations show the event will create over 600 million pounds of carbon dioxide emissions -- the amount it would take an average household over 57,000 years to produce.

Hey, RM, it only counts when citizens are driving to and from work, not when a king is being crowned.....

    It's unstoppable.

Ron has a week-long customer event this time of the year every year. He didn't think about getting buses any earlier than usual. Well, he didn't get any. For miles and miles and miles, they are all in Washington.

I might be out of line for feeling this way, but I hope that during tomorrow's inauguration, there will be a blizzard of ice, snow, rain, sleet, & wind. Not to mention being extremely cold, wet, & miserable.

That came during Reagan's second inauguration. Are you saying it was a sign from God?

Good thing you proved this stuff is not harmful in the other thread or we'd have something to worry about...

But it does support the cult mentality of his flock. Do as we say, not as we do.

The hypocrisy here is they all believe it and yet are willing to add to it in this manner. Or do they?

What a ridiculous comment. Sounds like the righties who were praying for a storm in Denver during the Democratic National Convention night at Invesco Field at Mile High.

I always thought there was something different about democrats. Perhaps they operate on a Silicon Cycle instead of a Carbon Cycle. No CO2 just sand. I read years ago speculation by scientists? [likely evolutionists] that different life forms might operate on a Silicon Cycle. See Here
    at bottom of article.
