Two of the most prolific gospel song writers of the twentieth century were Albert E Brumley and Bill/Gloria Gaither. It is interesting to note that they were both affilated with denomination that greatly disagree with Baptist Doctrine. Brumley Church of Christ (water baptism) and The Gaithers Nazarene (sinless perfection)

The Body of Christ has room for many. From Japheth, Ham, and Shem, come words of praise and worship. I'm not saying every religious song is worthy, but perhaps an effort is made. I believe it may have been Jimmy Durante who said, "Everybody wants to get in the Act".

But taking into account your "water baptism", and" sinless perfection", can't we find these in the Baptist religion too?
