As usual, you twist scripture for your own ends.

James 2 is speaking of faith without works. The illustration is if you see a person who is cold and hungry and all you do is tell them be warmed and filled, you have done the same as saying you have faith but do not bother to back it up with works wroght in faith. James was not preaching socialistic ideas. James was providing an illustration.

So how is that different from being required to have a SS number, or being required to prove you have paid your taxes? It doesn't seem comparable to being forced to prove your citizenship except in the vaguest way.

The difference is that the IRS is being used to collect a fine - which you are charged without the benefit of a trial or hearing - not taxes.

Again, don't humor the elitists. They know better than the rest of us unwashed minions. They throw prooftext scriptures at you and cast whitewashed arguments your way; bombarding you with homework assignments while refusing to answer even the simplest of questions.

    Another liberal inconsistency...

Fathom the idea that liberals, when confronted about the lack of Godly principles in America today, are quick to point out we are not a Theocracy, but as soon as one of their liberal policies are attacked, they expect America to act like a Theocracy.

One does not ask elitists questions. They ask and you answer. By the way, it's a good question. Either way they answer it will but them in a pickle.
