I thought the article was very balanced and thought provoking.

There were many points that would make one question what one's motives are for including christmas as part of life - is it really necessary?

    What does it accomplish realistically?

Is God honored by our imitations to recreate HISstory?

If Jesus only instructed us to commemorate His death by breaking of bread and of wine, then how do we justify christmas?

If in fact, most of the christmas celebrations and trimmings are based on pagan customs and traditions [trees, decorations, giving of gifts, dec 25, etc], then do we have the right to make them "christian"?

Thought it overall pretty sorry. Guess it is easy to shoot at something that has so many man-made aspects.

Matter of fact, I went to the home page of the site and not impressed. Just my opinion.

Why not take ONE issue - like Christmas Tree - and start a thread to discuss it.
