I downloaded it, but I doubt that it will woo me from my Firefox.

Now if Mozilla would just fix that memory leak...

Looked at it - it is different. Can't decide if I like it yet.

    What memory leak?

I have had more and more problems with Firefox lately, especially with some JavaScript issues.

As a developer I have to make sure my sites work with the most used browser, which is IE, I like the new features they have added to IE7!

I'll wait for the full one [IMG]

Just updated Netscape tonight, I hope they fixed the freezing bug it had or it will be a very quick un-install.

I too have been having a few problems with Firefox of late, and have been forced to use IE more and more.

Wow, IE 7 Beta completely fouled up the rendering of my Joomla page....

I love my FF, but it really likes to use up the RAM. Version 1.5 helped a lot with the leak (when a program doesn't give up the RAM it is using).

I tried to use the IE7. Anyone know how to set it to open links in a new tab instead of opening a new browser? That's one of my main gripes about IE (that, and it is full of security holes), and a main reason I love Firefox.

With IE7 you can hold down Ctrl when you click on a link to open in a new tab, and hold down Shift to open in a new window.

Have you tried the new Opera 8, it saves your tabs that you have open each session so they are still open the next time you use the browser.

It looks like a 3-way browswer war is about to begin!

I also like the new version of Opera A LOT!

    Been playing with all three.

I'm not alone ... Firefox has been giving me too many fits as of late so I did switch back to IE. Now that IE, when the full version is released, has tabbed browsing, I'm content! Now if they'd only add some features to OE...

Two ways I've found to open a page in a new tab:

    1. Hold down the "ctrl" key while clicking on the link.
    2. Right-click on the link and they have added that option within that menu.

With FF, I just click the link, or middle click it (mouse wheel) to be sure. I can also right-click and choose how i want it opened, be it in a new tab, window, IE tab, whatever.

    Versatility. Gotta love it.

But Firefox is not for everyone. That I ubderstand.

    Back to IE6...

Although I gleefully anticipate the full release of IE7, it is not completely functional yet so I had to uninstall it for now. Specifically, I couldn't post messages to my blog.

I wonder how long it'll be before they release it fully functional?
