Interpreting the 7 Churches as "Church Ages"

    As I delve further into the history of this theory, I see more and more instances that, with a little iamgination, one could attribute to a church-age-theory period. However, there's no overall pattern suggesting there's any truth to the entire theory.

    For that matter, Paul wrote epistles that God chose as Scripture to SEVEN churches, but I've not seen any theory based upon this fact.

    In my entire Christian lifetime, I've seen the church age theory taught and advocated mostly by pseudo-Christian cults and "teachers". Maybe at one time it may have had some legitimate expositors, but I believe history and the overall view of Scripture shows the entire theory to be just some more man-made hot air.
