I am sure that is you're intent, and I do wish you great success with that, but I don't believe the Holy Spirit told you to say Bomb, Bomb, Bomb.

Sorry, I just don't buy that.

Hey, you do the same, if you don't like what I post, than keep reading.... I didn't figure you would reply and answer in any other response other than this style. You can't show me where Jesus or the Bible backs your position and to me, without that, it's nothing.

The War of Terror is a falsehood from the beginning. Much like the "war of drugs" effort and yet today there are more drugs in the country than ever.

    It's all smoke and mirrors...

As far as me telling you what to believe or not, I never did that, I just asked you to provide your basis of why you believe what you do, and you have shown nothing.

Another empty thread is would appear.

Actually, several times you stated what we should do, as Christians. And I have stated there is a time to kill, which I got outta scripture.

I have never liked it when folks do that. I don't think that you were rude or anything, it's just arrogant, to me, for people to go around pointing their fingers around & saying "that's not what a Christian would do".

???!?!!!? Never said it did, did I ?

Does the Holy Spirit lead you to scan the Baptist Board, telling folks when they're out of God's will ?

You are correct in this point. I should have said something to the effect of 'as I interrupt the Bible, a Christian should/should not act this way'

My statements were my interruptations of what I read and understand. So in that point, you are correct, I shouldn't state it as fact.

I'm sorry for making it appear to be a true statement vers my interruptation.

Well, I am sorry if my questions put on you on defense, looking thru them they seem harsher than I meant.

You stated that the Holy Spirit leads you to say and do what you do, and you stated you would Bomb Iran. So, my question is if the Holy Spirit didn't lead you to say it, who did?

No more so then it does you I would think. To tell you the truth, I think it bought me here to find a place to strenthen my faith, make me study more, and seek the truth in things.

I have met a lot of wonderful people (even though we tend to disagree more than agree, yourself included) and these people and their opinions have made me dig deeper into the Bible and my faith.

I know, it's more than you asked for, but I thought I would share.

My feeling is Iran will keep doing these things until the world has to respond. And I'm of the opinion that what Christ would want is for the U.S. to try and get this guy back, and then take measures to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Our forefathers fixed it so our grandchildren didn't have to worry about Japanese imperialism & Nazis, and I think we owe it to our grandchildren to rid the world of this evil, as well.

That would include reducing Iran to a non-threat. And the U.S, always rebuilds the nations we attack, don't we ?

More ridiculous binary thinking. We have two extremes...total appeasement or nuclear holocaust. Simplistic solutions to complex problems are no solution. You drop a nuclear bomb on Iran, it will end up in global conflagration which will surely destroy America as well.

Didn't say nuke 'em. But hey, you gave us two things we can't do, what do you propose to do ?

BTW, I should credit my song to Paul Shanklin. It's hilarious.

I think it's ridiculous to play games with Iran. And it's denial to say we won't have to deal with them, sooner or later. I do think if we wait long enough, we'll have most of what's left of Europe behind us.

Maybe we should first confirm that this man has indeed been kidnapped by Iranian agents. That is unless you are simply looking for a reason to attack another country.

And, if he was, would an all out attack on the entire nation be the appropriate response? Do you think this would insure his safe return?

I think we have a duty to find out, it does seem that this guy is missing, and with Pelosi's trips of diplomacy, of late, you would think Iran would be fully co-operating with us.

Does anyone think Iran will respond to diplomacy ? Seems like they're the ones beating the war drum.

And for the record, I hope Iran & Palestine someday just recognize Israel's right to exist, without any further deaths. Think that'll happen, even when Bush leaves? Remember, they hated Jews way back when Clinton was president, Carter even. You cannot blame Bush, here.

I agree with brother curtis in the fact we cant use the verse turn the other cheek to mean we just let people do what ever to us.
The point was when one hit you on the cheek, much like spitting in your face in our time, that we don't strike back immediately.
When Jesus was struck on the face, it seems like that would of been the perfect place that we would see he turned the other cheek but it never says he did that, which is strange if he meant we should turn the other cheek every time we are hit.
We have to rightly divide the word and the same gospels tell us Jesus used force to drive out the money changers, and if you dont have a sword to buy one. Now that sounds like being proactive.
