    I would bet that the average citizen would be encouraged at the civil rights and freedoms they see emerging in Iraq.

    It would be natural for them to have second thoughts.Please be reminded that there was resistance in Germany with leftover nazis for 8 years but they are doing well now so a little more time might be a better teller of this tale.
