==You made some great points in your post. The above statement represents something I have been thinking for sevearl days now. This issue could have been solved quickly and easily but that was not what Iran wanted to do. They wanted to create a crisis and then try to blame Britain/America for the crisis. Thankfully for the majority of people it has not worked. Sadly there are those out there, like Rosie, who are willing to believe the lies that spew forth from a terrorist state's mouth. That is what Iran is, a terrorist state. They are guilty of piracy, kidnapping, and these videos remind me of the blackmale used by terrorists in Iraq. When Iran released the "letter" they claim was from that sailor calling for a quick withdrawl from Iraq that gave Iran's show away. This is not about justice, legal claim to waters, or trespassing. This is about Iran trying to show the west that it can cause problems. Now this morning there is another video.

I pray that this issue can be resolved quickly and that those soldiers will be released soon. I am actually hopeful this morning that this will happen soon because several middle eastern nations are pressuring Iran to release the soldiers as is the UN, the EU, and I think Russia has said the sailors should be released as well. The videos Iran is releasing, while totally unacceptable, with the "apologies" from the sailors seems to be steps towards releasing the sailors. I think, and this is just a guess, that Iran will drag this out for a few more days then release the sailors and turn around and tell their people that the British apologized. Sort of the same thing they did in 2004 and like what China did in 2001.

I don't have many "theories", Poncho. That's your gig. If I do, I understand they are just that, "theories". You should try dealing sometime with things as they are, not how you "theorize" they are.

It would most likely be a truly liberating experience for you.
