    Breaking news....

Or, they could deceive our troops!

I praise God for letting us find this out ahead of time. I praise God for His hand of protection and for looking out for us.

When our hearts are right, when our cause is noble, when Christians are praying - God will go before us & be our shield. PTL!

I continue to pray for God's protection over our brave military forces - there is now estimated 300,000+ troops in the Iraqi theater awaiting orders.

Not to worry, this is an old tactic, and it never works. Probably not a military skirmish occurs where this isn't at least thought about.

I believe that I have told this story before. However, there is a doctor who is a member of my church that served in a forward MASH unit in the 1991 Gulf War. He says that just about all of the civilian wounded that they treated had been shot by the cowardly Republican Guard as they ran away from the advancing U.S. led coalition forces. They (the Republican Guard) wounded and killed innocent women, children, and men. The brave and elite Republican Guard opened fire on entire villages of unarmed Iraqi civilians. That is the kind of enemy we are up against.

BTW, I hear the term "Just War Principles" thrown around by the media. They are trying to build a case that the U.S. does not have a just cause in attacking Iraq in a new war. They are correct in that point if we isolate this moment in world history from its connection to the whole of world history.

The problem is that the nay-sayers have not considered the fact that the 1991 Gulf War NEVER ended. Sure there was a secession of hostilities. However, S.H. has never lived up to the terms that he agreed to in order to save his sorry hide in 1991.

It must be remembered that all of the "Just War Principles" were met prior to our firing the first shot in the 1991 Gulf War. Additionally, S.H. has never lived up to the terms that ended the hostilities in 1991. He has had 12 years to comply. He has not and continues to refuse to fully comply. Therefore, the "Just War Principles" that led us to act against him in 1991 still apply today.

I'm pretty sure that all US military uniforms are made in the US, due to security concerns. But I could be wrong. In any event, it's not exactly difficult to copy miliraty uniforms. Hollywood does it all the time with relatively good accuracy, drawing mostly from photos of the originals.

Ahyway, I suppose that's getting off the topic a bit. Suffice it to say I doubt it would be the kind of military tactic that would prove very successful, other than to make the perpetrator look inept. As Napoleon was fond of saying, it's unwise to interrupt your opponenet while he's making a mistake.

I stand corrected, at least on the beret issue.
